Google Chrome Displays Blank Screen
When Opening a PDF

Background:
Google Chrome comes with its own PDF
Viewer. There are known issues with viewing PDF
documents with the Chrome PDF Viewer. When you attempt
to view a PDF document, the screen may look like this:

Solution:
Disable the Chrome PDF Viewer and
Enable the Adobe Reader Viewer. Steps to do this:
1.
Open Google Chrome

2.
In the address bar, type “about:plugins”
(without the apostrophes) and press the Enter key
on your keyboard. Use the picture below as a guide:

3.
The Google Chrome plugins are displayed, as shown
below. Note: Your list of plug-ins may be
slightly different.

4.
Find the Chrome PDF Viewer plug-in in the
list and click on the text Disable to disable the
plug-in
5.
Find the Adobe Acrobat/Adobe PDF Plug-in
and click on the text Enable to enable the
plug-in
6.
Your Plug-ins should now look similar to the
following

You will now be able to view PDFs correctly.
